Hi everyone
I am glad to inform you about the latest section launched at FXstreet.com:
Forex Blogs: http://www.fxstreet.com/live/forex-blogs/blogs/
You can see all available blogs listed there.
This is a starting point as we are working hard to get new great bloggers joining us there. At this time, we have two bloggers being tested and more to come.
The funny thing of it is the description content department made of this blog:
Follow Francesc Riverola’s daily comments and thoughts. FXstreet.com CEO and founder covers the relevant news that affect the Forex Industry as well as open discussions about the more polemic market regulations. You will also find FXstreet.com's announcements and events in this interesting blog.
How hard is to talk about the boss right?
I´m not going to fire them yet as it feels good to be praised once in a while :)
Just kidding ;)

I'm glad to announce you that Sam Seiden has just been confirmed as key speaker at our International Traders Conference (ITC 2008) of October.
As the other confirmed speakers, he will present a key speech and be team leader of the Live Trading Sessions
Sam Seiden brings over 15 years experience of equities and futures trading which began when he was on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He has traded equities, futures, interest rate markets, forex, options, and commodities for his personal interests for years and has educated hundreds of traders and investors through seminars and daily advisory services both domestically and internationally.
Sam has been involved in the markets since 1991 both on and off the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He has served as the Director of Technical Research for two trading firms and regularly contributes articles to industry publications. Sam is known for his trading, technical research, and educational guidance.
Sam's method is based on these principles: "In trading, you get paid when others do what you do, after you do it. Sam's method is based on market principles that have stood the test of time. This method quantifies the supply / demand and human behavior relationship that exists in any marketplace. This relationship is ultimately what determines price. Knowing this allows you to enter trades at the right time so you get paid when others follow."
Sam regularly holds webinars at FXstreet.com and is among our most followed speakers. The recordings of his sessions are maybe the most successful too (you will find these videos listed on his contributor's profile page). Sam is an excellent educator and I'm sure that ITC attendees will learn a lot from him!

Hi everyone,
It seems today is the starting date for a new FX industry in the U.S as the Senate has passed Farm Bill with a strong majority that overrides any intent of veto by president Bush.
The full bill is available at the House of Representatives website:

Title 12th (page 548) is the part of interest for all of us:

Hi everyone
I'm delighted to announce here today that FXstreet.com has just signed an agreement with the French company Entropic Synergies SAS to offer at FXstreet.com a great and very fun Forex game based on one-to-one duels.
The game is very simple: the winner takes all the duellars - the dueling currency- from the looser, and the more you win, the more duellars you get.
In June 2006 we will launch the first game that will offer great prizes worth €2,500. The event will last 6 weeks - the first two weeks for testing and playing at will and the last 4 weeks for the game itself.
This first event is made possible thanks to the collaboration and sponsorship of Alpari UK.
So I want to take this opportunity to thank Alpari UK for their great support on this project which, I hope, will help traders worldwide to relax a little bit and take fun breaks in the middle of their stressful trading.
The official agreement will be released in a few days but I wanted you to know from me before anyone else :)

Hi everyone,
Here you have the top80 and bottom20 list of FXstreet's FX Trader of the Year 2008 demo contest. If I´m not wrong, the contest is already in its 10th week and it is still leaded by Adrian Teixeira. Adrian took the leadership last week and the previous leader See Yew Teck is still holding the 3rd position.
This week is worth to highlight the big raise of James Brown, climbing from the 23rd position to the 5th, while in the negative front we must highlight the fall of fachry loebis from the 4th position to the 16th.
This is getting interesting

Hi everyone,
Yesterday FXDD announced its applications for becoming a National Futures Association (NFA) member and for registration as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) with the CFTC are pending approval.
I was already aware of that as Mr. James E. Green, Managing Director & General Counsel at FXDD informed about it a few months ago.
That´s definetly good news!
Francesc
Here you have oficial presse release from FXDD
FXDD Announces Pending NFA Approval
NEW YORK, May 8, 2008 - FXDD, a global leader in online foreign exchange trading, today announced its applications for becoming a National Futures Association (NFA) member and for registration as a Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) with the CFTC are pending approval. Clients may follow FXDD progress through the registration process by logging on to the NFA’s website (www.nfa.futures.org) and searching the BASIC system under its NFA ID number 0397435.
“The pending reauthorization legislation for the CFTC will fill the gaps left by previous legislation and narrow the playing field for entities in the Forex space. The value of companies as registered entities and non-registered entities is driven by many factors; registration is certainly one of those factors,” commented James E. Green, FXDD’s chief legal counsel. “FXDD is always interested in increasing its business under the appropriate circumstances by providing professional service and promoting certainty and clarity as to the government and private agencies responsible for regulating Forex dealers.”

Hi all,
Here you have Google analytics stats for FXstreet's web site in April 2008.
After new all-time highs in January 2008, I was expecting to beat them either in March or April.
In March, we were on the way to made it, but eastern break came along and drove numbers down.
So I was very confident that in April we could finally made it, but it seems that January highs are not yet reachable.
The main reason of our failure to reach new highs is definetly caused by the poor performance our new charts and rates sections from Interactive Data. In fact, their performance is a big deception for FXstreet's team.
The good news for April should be the great performance of FXstreet's Economic Calendar raising a 14% from 231k page views to 263k, a new all-time high.
From January 2008, the EcoCal's raise in page views has topped a nice 26.5%.
Also, worth to highlight the great performance of FXstreet's Live, Technical and Fundamental sections.
Our content department is definetly doing a very good job! :)

Hi everyone,
My friend David Solin, partner at Foreign Exchange Analytics is suggesting in his latest article that we could be seen eventual gains back to the 1.6015 and above in EUR/USD.
I hope he will be wrong or this move won´t last much, otherwise I should have to start sending my resumé and look for a 9 to 5 job ;)
Enjoy it!
